"Unknown Pleasures" is a layered wood tribute to the iconic 1979 Joy Division album cover of the same name. Designed for Faultline's GROOVES 2026 exhibition, the artwork plays into the album title by entangling the minimalist pulsar radio waves from the album art with an alluring, enigmatic figure.  For this piece, I was particularly drawn to the concept of adopting and reworking imagery that, itself, was adopted from other sources, honoring the previous iterations, while adding my own deviant twist.
